  • Delivery areas and pickup points
  • Optional UPI ID (if provided)

2.2 Customer Information (entered by merchant)

Merchants may enter limited customer details for invoicing purposes:

  • Name
  • Mobile number
  • Invoice details

We do not collect customer information directly from customers.

2.3 Device & Technical Information

To improve performance and maintain security, we may collect:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • App usage analytics
  • Crash logs

2.4 Images

Some services allow merchants to capture or upload images (e.g., tailoring, product documentation). Images are:

  • Stored securely
  • Used only for the intended service
  • Never shared with third parties for advertising or marketing

2.5 Audio (Voice Search)

iNock includes an optional voice‑based search feature.

When the user taps the microphone icon:

  • The App temporarily accesses the device microphone
  • Speech is converted to text locally on the device
  • Audio is not stored, not uploaded, not transmitted, and not shared
  • Audio is discarded immediately after conversion
  • No background recording occurs
  • No biometric or voice‑profile data is collected

This feature is strictly optional and activated only by explicit user action.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Generate invoices
  • Manage inventory
  • Display optional UPI QR codes
  • Send optional WhatsApp notifications (OTP, invoice updates)
  • Improve app and service performance
  • Provide customer support
  • Enable optional voice‑based search

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

4. What We Do NOT Do

Our products, including iNock, do not:

  • Process payments
  • Store bank account details
  • Store audio recordings
  • Share customer data with advertisers
  • Sell any data to third parties
  • Record audio in the background
  • Upload audio to servers
  • Access or read WhatsApp messages

5. Data Sharing

We may share limited data only with trusted service providers:

  • Cloud hosting providers – for secure storage of merchant data
  • WhatsApp messaging providers (if applicable) – only when merchants choose to send OTP or invoice notifications
    • If the App uses device‑based WhatsApp share intent, no third‑party WhatsApp API is used.

We do not share data with:

  • Advertisers
  • Analytics companies
  • Third‑party marketing services

6. Permissions Used

Our applications may request the following permissions:

  • Camera – capture product or tailoring images
  • Read Media Images – upload images from device
  • Record Audio – optional voice search
  • Internet – sync data and send WhatsApp notifications

We do not request SMS permission, as all notifications are sent via WhatsApp.

All permissions are used only for their stated purpose.

7. Data Security

We implement industry‑standard security measures, including:

  • Encrypted communication (HTTPS)
  • Secure storage
  • Restricted access controls

You are responsible for securing your device and login credentials.

  • Merchant and invoice data is retained while your account remains active

  • Request deletion of stored data

  • Disable optional features (WhatsApp notifications, UPI QR, voice search)
